He craves the sweet innards of your working (non working) bones
with no needle to extract it from the middle, he uses his multiple jaws
and messy tongues to pry and gnaw and tear, hoping to reach the center,
like a child and a sloppy chocolate bar with a surprise in the middle.
He has four eyes, so beware, he can easily hunt his prey at night,
and leave you on the sidewalk with your groceries, as an empty bag of bones.
he craves the sweet marrow. the sweet middle.

I was approached by UK thrashers Redmist Destruction, and they wanted a shirt involving something horrific, scary, kind of gory, and I said, NOT A PROBLEM!
So I tapped into my old horror movie collection, and quickly got inspired by Night of The Creeps. Hope you enjoy these brainworms!

Within The Ruins

I finally got the go ahead to post up this new 4 color tee design for Within The Ruins. These guys are always a pleasure to work with. My friend Tim, who used to sing for a band called She’s a Liar that my band toured with awhile back, is now their new frontman. And with that said, they are unstoppable! Be sure and snag this tee on their upcoming tours and their new merch stores.

A personal blog, sort of…

I gave in and started an actual blog, just for personal and random things from my life (as if twitter doesn’t already do that.) You’ll see a lot of stuff that I find funny or amusing, random prose, and whatever else. Who knows what will make it on there.

Thank you Comcast and canadian death metal!

I was surfing through the On-Demand channels late last night at 4 am, and decided to head over to the music section, just to see what new videos have been added to the collection. I first went to the metal category, then to the new Despised Icon video for “Day of Mourning”. To my surprise, their bass player is rocking a design I did early last year for REVOCATION (relapse records), and their guitar player is wearing a shirt I did for THE LAST FELONY (galy records) So, I made it on TV, sort of, not really. Either way, it’s on there. Thank you comcast and Despised Icon! mad support.

New tee for Tread The Blood! Fan of Lord of The Rings?

I was asked to create a shirt design for TREAD THE BLOOD featuring a “Balrog” from LORD OF THE RINGS!
I love working with these guys, they usually give me good concepts and ideas for me to try that are out of control!

Here’a a quick synopsis on what a “Balrog” is, courtesy of Wikipedia. (not sure how true this site is, but it sounds accurate)
”
A Balrog is a fictional demonic creature from J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth fantasy writings. Such creatures first appeared in print in his novel The Lord of the Rings, though they figured in earlier writings that posthumously appeared in The Silmarillion and other books.
Balrogs are described as tall, menacing humanoid beings, with the ability to shroud themselves in fire, darkness, and shadow. They frequently appeared armed with fiery whips of many thongs, and occasionally used long swords.”
